On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Bank Audi welcomed with arms wide open the Donner Sang Compter team for a blood drive on June 15, 2015. The team arrived to Plaza’s internal courtyard and set up their massive red inflatable tent where all the equipment was installed to examine blood samples and collect units.
The event that was organized in collaboration with the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) aimed to sustain commitment to the community. The Donner Sang Compter mascot visited employees at Bank Audi Headquarters encouraging them to donate. Indeed, 54 colleagues took part in this initiative; 35 units of blood were garnered, which meant that 105 lives would be saved.
This event served to raise awareness and motivate potential blood donors to support the Donner Sang Compter cause and promote a culture of openness and giving.
