This year again and under the “peace… love… run” theme, the BDL Beirut Marathon 2014 gave professionals and amateur athletes from different age groups and backgrounds the chance to run together for a good cause on November 9, 2014.
Bank Audi’s 500 colleagues and family members joined more than 37,000 runners from 94 Arab and foreign countries who ran the 1 Km “Run with Parents” race, 5 Km “Youth Race”, 10 Km “Fun Run” and the all-mighty 42.195 Km.
In this edition of the Beirut Marathon, the Bank’s employees supported the Brave Heart Fund, an NGO based at the AUBMC and dedicated to provide financial assistance to children with congenital heart disease, helping cover their medical and surgical expenses.
Bank Audi’s participation in the marathon extends beyond simply entertaining employees. The Bank always strives to engage them and help them empower society by supporting NGOs and initiatives that benefit the community.
As a highly regarded community stakeholder, the Bank has once again fulfilled its moral obligation to take part in such events proving it truly cares for the well-being of society and the environment.
