La Sagesse schools and Bank Audi celebrated their ninth annual “Mérite Blé Vert” event on June 21, 2011, on the occasion of which academically and artistically distinguished La Sagesse students received scholarships from Bank Audi for the year 2010-2011, in conformity with the partnership binding both institutions.
The reception, held under the patronage of the maronite Archbishop of Beirut, Boulos Matar, at La Sagesse St. Maron – Jdeideh, was attended by H.E. Mr. Raymond Audi and Mr. Marc Audi, respectively Chairman – General Manager and General Manager – Country Manager Lebanon of Bank Audi sal - Audi Saradar Group, and the principals of La Sagesse schools in Beirut, Jdeideh, Brasilia, Ain Saadeh, Clemenceau, Ain El Remmaneh and La Sagesse Technique, as well as a number of clergymen. Several managers were also present from Bank Audi and LIA Insurance, as well as the students’ parents.
Mr. Audi delivered a speech in which he lauded the partnership between Bank Audi and La Sagesse schools, and underlined the mutual concern of both institutions to fulfil students’ aspirations and offer them the best academic qualifications, and their dedication to helping members of the La Sagesse family meet their basic needs while making sure that they enjoy respectable living standards.
As for Archbishop Matar, he saluted Bank Audi for its permanent commitment to humanitarian projects and its pledge, alongside La Sagesse schools, to improve people’s lives and offer them a world of opportunities.
Archbishop Matar and Mr. Audi then distributed the “Mérite Blé Vert” scholarships to 134 distinguished students, after which everyone was invited to a cocktail reception on the premises.
