In a press conference held at Bank Audi Plaza on November 18, 2009, Maxime Chaya, Bank Audi’s Corporate Ambassador, introduced his long-awaited book, “Steep Dreams – My Journey to the Top of the World”, the exciting story of his death-defying odyssey to the world’s Seven Summits, as well as to the North and South Poles.
Commenting on the book, which is co-written with New York Times best-selling author Richard Buskin and beautifully illustrated with more than 700 captivating, sometimes harrowing photos, Chaya explained: “It is a detailed account of my journeys to the four corners of the world, including the emotions they triggered in me, from the depths of despair to the euphoria of triumph.” He dedicated his book “to the youth of Lebanon”, in the hope of inspiring them to face their own challenges and climb their own Everest.
Chaya will sign “Steep Dreams” on December 3 and 4 at Villa Audi – Sofil, in the context of a special event entitled “An Inspirational Journey” featuring amazing footage, stunning visuals and timeless mementos of his adventures to the highest peak of each continent and both Poles; a motivation for all to grow beyond their potential...
