For the fifth year in a row, Bank Audi publishes its CSR Report, one that conveys the evolution of the Bank’s CSR journey, guided by its longstanding core values. The focus was on the inclusion of the Bank’s stakeholders and perfecting the materiality of its CSR strategy so as to strengthen elements of major importance revolving around five pillars namely Corporate Governance, Economic Development, Community Development, Human Development and Environmental Protection.
Through this report, Bank Audi have refined its material aspects to support SMEs, empower start-ups, encourage financial literacy, engage in vocational outreach, and enhance corporate volunteering.
Similar to the previous edition, this report conforms to globally set benchmarks, mainly the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 guidelines, in addition to ISO 26000 directives on Social Responsibility, and is aligned with the UN Global Compact principles.
As a trendsetter in the Lebanese financial sector and having identified a key CSR benchmark, the Bank is committed to improving the economic, social and environmental scene for the sustainable development of the country. It remains dedicated to this course of continuous innovation and improvement, and looks to stand out by proactively engaging in CSR-related issues. It can achieve this objective by focusing on adding to its social and financial success through more inclusiveness, ownership and responsibility. The Bank will reap and share the benefits of this responsible business orientation locally and across the entire Group in the near future, within the guidelines of international best practices, as benchmarked through the GRI.
